Satellite Navigation has been included in ESCI

In October 2021, Satellite Navigation (SANA), the first English academic journal in the field of satellite navigation in China, was officially included in ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index). 

Founded in 2020, the journal was sponsored by Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, supported and initiated by Academic Exchange Center of China Satellite Navigation Office, Scientific Committee of China Satellite (CSNC). Editor-in-chief is Prof. Yang Yuanxi, world-famous satellite navigation expert, Deputy Chief Architect of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, and Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Executive Editor-in-chief is Prof. Jin Shuanggen, Research Fellow of Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academic of Sciences. In addition, over 40 satellite navigation experts from different countries or regions, including China, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, the Netherlands, the United States, and Canada were invited to form an international editorial committee for the journal. 

Since its foundation, it has widely absorbed wisdom on satellite and navigation system from all over the world, and supports the global development of the navigation satellite technologies.
