Satellite Navigation welcomes submissions to the thematic series on ‘Future Navigation’
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, robotics, unmanned autonomous vehicles and other linked technologies and the continuous expansion of their application horizon, new challenges and demands are also brought to navigation technologies. Especially in challenging environments such as deep space, deep sea and very remote or human-denied areas, unmanned autonomous systems require more and more intelligent navigation, so there is an urgent need to explore and develop novel navigation technologies to meet these daily changing demands. In recent years, intelligent navigation has gradually become frontier research in this field. In order to promote the development of future navigation technologies and attract the attention of world-wide scholars in relevant disciplines, this special issue will focus on new mechanisms, new methods, new algorithms, new technologies, new hardware, and new applications of future intelligent navigation, including brain-inspired navigation, quantum navigation, bio-inspired navigation, AI-based navigation, and other frontier technologies we can image now. Welcome to submit reviews or original research papers on these topics.
Topics include but are not limited to the following:
- Theory and Practice of Intelligent PNT
- Future BDS/GNSS Navigation
- Brain-inspired Navigation
- Quantum Navigation
- Bio-inspired Navigation
- AI-based Navigation Algorithms
- Novel Sensors for Navigation
- Novel Chips for Navigation
- Applications of Intelligent Navigation
